Newcrete B

Bleeding (water segregation)
In bleeding some of the water in the mixture rises to the surface, taking with it fine particulates of cement, aggregate & sand which can weaken the casting and may lead to irreversible failures in the cement matrix.

Newcrete M

Secondary Reinforcement and Plastic Cracking
Plastic cracking is caused by uncontrolled contractions due to the evaporation of bleed water and material shrinkage during the early plastic stage of drying. Minor cracks may increase in size causing weakening of the element.

Newcrete T

Thermal Cracking
Thermal cracking occurs due to temperature differentials in high volume or high strength elements. The temperature gradient between the core and the outer shell causes cracking which affects the quality and endurance of the element.

Newcrete P

Cement & Acrylic Plasters
Plasters usually suffer from surface dehydration, causing premature contraction before it can adhere and build internal strength. As a result, the plaster tends to crack and break away from the wall, producing a surface with problematic quality and aesthetics.

Newcrete S

Shotcrete? Spraying? Cohesion? (or a combination)
The specially tailored fibers increase the cohesion of the concrete, improving the spraying process. Increasing the spray rate and decreasing waste.
