Problems applying various types of plaster

Plasters usually suffer from surface drying and dry skin formation, causing cracking when the internal layers consolidate and contract. As a result, the plaster cracks severely, producing a surface with problematic quality and aesthetics.

The solution

Fiberfor's fibers are specially engineered and adapted to a variety plaster applications significantly improving the quality and ease of application of the material. The use of nylon fibers provides a smooth surface, unlike other polymers which can produce a "fuzzy" or "hairy" surface.

The nylon fibers' chemical and mechanical properties are customized to prevent drying of the plaster and to curb cracking.  Their hydrophilic properties allow for uniform hydration during drying and prevent the plaster from prematurely drying out and cracking.

The fibers thin flexible structure allows the plaster to flow (Rheology) and a viscosity that is controlled by the effort exerted when spreading the paste during the application.
